The incredible quintet for this occasion includes tenor saxophonist Nicole Glover, vibraphonist Joel Ross, pianist George Cables, bassist Russell Hall, and drummer Billy Hart. They will perform compositions representing the breadth and depth of Shorter’s 60-plus-year career, including some of his indelible and timeless contributions to Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, the Miles Davis Quintet, Weather Report, and his solo albums from the classic Blue Note era to the 21st Century.
